A man was shot and critically wounded by a gunman at Aliangan Drive, Mampang last Friday night.

Police identified the victim as Berting Padiwang y Baduli, 43, widower.

He was declared in critical condition due to bullet wounds in the different parts of the body.

Padiwang was drinking with his friends identified as Jeffrey Hangco, Jerry Imulatan and Ernesto Hangco at the house of Michael Agata around 10 p.m. when the shooting took place.

Police said that Padiwang went out of the house to urinate when a gunman appeared and shot him several times.

The gunman fled after seeing Padiwang fell on the ground with bullet wounds.

Investigators of the Tetuan police station under Chief Insp. Felix Martinez are still working on the case. — Dan Toribio Jr.
