Two men were wounded in two separate knife attacks in San Roque and Tumaga last Saturday and Sunday.

Wounded were Jonathan Labrador, 20, of Sta. Teresita, San Roque and Jimboy Joplo, 25, of Caridad Street, Tumaga.

Labrador was stabbed and wounded by Michael Francisco of Salamat Village, San Roque.

A police report disclosed that Labrador and Francisco were drinking spree at Salamat Village around 8:30 p.m. during which they figured in a heated
argument that led to the bloody confrontation. Francisco pulled out a knife and stabbed Labrador in the body.

Labrador was taken to the hospital while Francisco escaped after the incident.

Joplo was stabbed and wounded by his elder brother Fernan Joplo, 28.

Police said the two brothers figured in a heated argument that resulted in the stabbing.

Fernan was arrested during a follow-up operation.
