The Land Transportation Office wants to further educate drivers and soon-to-be drivers in the city and the region as a whole to become more responsible drivers, thus, they will be releasing their Examination Reviewer and Drivers License Manual this month.

LTO 9 Regional Director Aminola Abaton said the 113-page comprehensive booklet will give readers important and basic knowledge from acquiring driver’s license, to road safety and courtesy, to traffic rules and regulations, among others. Abaton said this is part of their continuing efforts to educate drivers in the region.

“We want to make sure that driver’s license holders are truly qualified to drive,” Abaton said.

Although the manual is for sale, Abaton said the public can get one at a very reasonable price. He added that this will really result in a more qualified and responsible drivers, and in the process lessen road accidents due to traffic violations and over-speeding.

Abaton said they will be releasing the manual on the third week of this month.
