The Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE)  Zamboanga City chapter will hold its induction of new set of officers and new members at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Rigodon Ballroom, Hacienda de Palmeras in Sta. Maria, this city.

Engr. Ramon F. Allado, chairman of the Philippines Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB), is guest speaker and inducting officer.

To be inducted are Eduardo Ramon T. Dimaano, president; El Shal S. Sali, internal vice president; Benedicto H. Ramos, external vice-president; Belen Sapalleda, secretary; Isidra A. Estanislao, treasurer; Alrasid C. Diya — auditor; Christopher A. Lague, public relations officer and Sherwin H. Fernando, business manager.

Board members to be inducted are Luis L. Despalo, Muhammadnur B. Muhammad, Arnold C. Hachero, Valentino M. Mangila, Salvador B. Robles Jr., Pablo L. Escuadro Jr., Luciano O. Katipunan Jr. and Antonio A. Sta. Elena, ex-officio.

Dimaano becomes the 19th president of the local organization that was founded in 1978 with Engr. Delfin M. Wenceslao as its charter president.

The strictly formal affair set in three parts will start with an invocation by Engr. Belen A. Sapalleda to be followed by the singing of the national anthem to be led by Engr. Michelle M. Asain and Engr. Benedicto Ramos giving the welcome address.

Then the dinner comes next afterwhich the induction ceremony wherein Engr. A. Fernando will introduce the guests and members of the group while Engr. Sali will give the closing remarks as raffles and fellowship have been prepared to wind up the event. — LE
