Police arrested 13 more wanted persons in different operations as the campaign against fugitives continues.

City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin De Ocampo identified those arrested as Alarico Desiderio of Sta. Catalina. He was nabbed on the strength of a warrant for grave slander under Case No. 50252 with P6,000 recommended bail bond.

Alfonso Balan, 66 and Joseph Balan, 42, both of Zambowood, were arrested for the crime of estafa under Case No. 25930. The court recommended P18,000 each for their temporary liberty.

Charlie Mariano and Emmylou Mariano, both of Upper Calarian were served with a warrant of arrest for violation of Batas Pambansa Bilang 22 under Case Nos. 50233 to 50234 for Charlie with recommended bail bond of P2,000 and Case Nos. 50235 to 50247 (13 counts) for Emmylou with recommended bail bond of P13,000.

Roger Basilio, 32, and Arnel Lozano, 33, of Culianan were arrested on the strength of a warrant for slight physical injuries under Case No. 49263 (I-6007) with recommended bail bond of P1,000.

Ramon Juela, 50, of Buenavista was nabbed by operatives of the Curuan police station for malicious mischief under Case No.  33254 (1464) with P400 recommended bail bond.

Melbert Francisco of Tetuan was arrested for violation of Section 8, 19, 22 (A), 22 (D) and 28 (E); Sction 24 (A) and 24 (D) and 24 (E) of Republic Act 8282 otherwise known as the Security Act of 1997 under Case Nos. 26350 and 26351 with recommended bail of P24,000.

Crispin Abing of Sta. Catalina and Randy Gomera were arrested on the strength of a warrant for qualified theft under Case No. 26358 with P18,000 bail bond.

Warlito Limen was arrested for Bigamy under Case No.  26215 with P24,000 recommended bail bond.

Abdel Aziz Dambong, 25, of San Jose Road was arrested for violation of Section 10 (a) Article VI in relation to Section 3 (b) Article 1 of RA 7610 under Case No. 25753. The court recommended P80,000 for his temporary liberty. — Dan Toribio Jr.
