2 killed, 1 injured as 2 bikes collide PDF Print E-mail

A businessman and a foreman of a housing subdivision were killed while a carpenter was injured in a road mishap along Lobregat Highway in Barangay Cabaluay last Thursday afternoon.

Police identified the fatalities as Oscar Castro y Bernardo, 51, married, a businessman of Cabaluay and George Atilano y Dellosa, 52, general foreman of Villa Teresa Subdivision and a resident of Bunguiao.

Injured was Edgardo Sajona y Dioquino, 48, a carpenter, also of Bunguiao.

A police report disclosed that Atilano was driving an XRM motorcycle with Sajona as backrider, heading east around 3:30 p.m. and running on a high speed when they collided with Castro’s XRM motorcycle that going on an opposite direction. The collision took place at a blind curve in Cabaluay

All of the three were thrown away from the motorcycles due to the strong impact. They sustained serious injuries in the body.

Castro and Atilano died on the spot while Sajona was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Both motorcycles were impounded at the police station while the cadavers were taken to the funeral parlor. — Dan Toribio Jr.
