More than 600 patients were treated during the medical-dental outreach mission launched by the San Ramon Power, Inc. (SRPI) at the Recodo National High School last Feb. 28.

Prior to the mission, Maj. Romulo R. Aujero of the Western Mindanao Command gave a lecture on dental care and proper hygiene attended by the patients themselves.

SRPI distributed 300 toothbrushes and toothpaste to the patients who were mostly residents of Recodo and adjacent barangays. More than 100 students were recipients of multiple vitamins after the mission.

Assisting in the project which is part of the social mission of SRPI, the company that is putting up a coal-fired power plant in San Ramon, were Task Force Zamboanga headed by Maj, Jaron D. Abdula, the police regional health service headed by Col. Dexter Bubuli, the City Health Office represented by Dr. Rowel Lubian, Maj. Steve A. Mindaros of the Philippine Navy, the 55th Engineering Brigade and volunteer student nurses of Brent Hospital School of College Inc. headed by Walbert delos Santos.
