Shipping firm employee dies in road mishap PDF Print E-mail

An employee of a shipping company died in a road mishap in Sinunuc last Wednesday night.

The fatality was identified as Romeo Quiamco of the Medzar Shipping Lines and a resident of Upper Calarian.
A police report disclosed that Quiamco was driving a motorcycle heading west around 6:20 p.m. when a passenger van driven by Arsadar Amirul, 24, of Recodo, accidentally bumped him in Sinunuc.

Quiamco was thrown off the motorcycle. He was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
Amirul surrendered to the police after the incident.

Police said that Amirul was placed under their custody as investigation was still ongoing.
