Costing P1 million, the project is part of the priority programs of Barangay Ayala and based on consultations done in the area the past months.

The project funding is taken from Cong. Climaco’s Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF).

The renovation work includes repainting and repair of the barangay hall’s ceiling.

“This has been identified as one priority of the barangay and so we have renovated the barangay hall to provide a conducive workplace for our barangay officials”, the lady solon said, stressing “we hope that this will likewise expedite services rendered to our constituents in Barangay Ayala”.

Expected to attend the turn-over ceremony today are officials from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and Ayala Barangay headed by Chairman Diosterides Librero and residents of the same barangay.

The barangay hall was constructed by the city government in 2007 and the rehabilitation project forms part of the congresswoman’s thrust to complement and supplement the efforts of the local government under the administration of Mayor Celso Lobregat. — Marvin Segura
