A tricycle driver and his female passenger were slightly injured after the tricycle they were riding turned on its side in a road accident last Thursday afternoon.

Noel Lopez, married, of Boalan, was negotiating Gov. Camins Avenue going east with a female passenger aboard his tricycle when a motorcycle driven by Mechican Paramio emerged into  the main road from the right portion of the highway near the Petron Gasoline Station. It was running in high speed.

Lopez told the police that he tried to evade the motorcycle, but lost control of the steering bar of his tricycle sending the vehicle on its right side.

Paramio crashed on the pavement but stood up immediately and sped away leaving Lopez and his passenger behind.

Lopez sustained slight injuries in the left arm while his passenger complained of body pain.

The incident was reported to the police. A follow-up investigation was carried out by traffic policemen resulting in the identification of Paramio through the help of the Land Transportation Office.

Yesterday, policemen were scheduled to invite Paramio to the police station for questioning. — Dan Toribio Jr.
