Two young motorcycle thieves were arrested  in  a joint operation of men of  the Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office under Chief Insp. Ariel Huesca and Highway Patrol Group 9  Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Unit Chief SPO4 Nestor Bandigan last Monday.

In a report to HPG Regional Chief Sr. Supt. Romeo R. Uy, Bandigan said the two suspects — both minors — were caught after informants told the law enforcers that the duo were behaving suspiciously in Barangay Suclema, Ipil.
When the duo was spotted by the  law enforcers aboard a red Honda Wave without plate number, they were questioned what were they doing in the area between  8 to 9:00 p.m. Both cannot give logical answer. The lawmen also asked for the registration of the motorcycle but the duo could produce any.

The two were brought to a police station. One of them told the police that he is from Titay. When the law enforcers asked the Titay police station through radio communication about the identity of one of the minors, it was found  that he has a pending case of arson and robbery committed on February 2, 2012 and the motorcycle was stolen on February 18, 2012 in Barangay Kitabog, Titay. — Allen Abastillas
