A teenager and a 50-year-old man were killed while two others were wounded in a gun attack at Zone 5, Calle San Jose, Ayala last Wednesday night.

The fatalities were identified as Aljaber Tating y Sapihi, 14 and Romeo Agustin y Jimenez. Wounded were Jerome Agustin y Aranas, son of Romeo and Felixberto Aranas y Delos Santos, 30, all residents of Ayala.

Police said the victims were shot by a certain Dodong, who escaped after the incident.

A sketchy police report disclosed that one of Romeo’s nephews went to their house and sought assistance as unidentified persons were raining their house with stones.

Romeo and his son Jerome and Felixberto rushed to his nephew’s house but while on their way, Dodong appeared at a dimly lit area and opened fire on them.

Tating, who was near the area, was hit by a stray bullet in the body.

The victims were rushed to the hospital but Tating and Romeo expired while undergoing treatment.

The Ayala police were still hot on the track of the attacker. — Dan Toribio Jr.
