Burglars broke into a house in San Jose Gusu and got away with valuable items last Wednesday night.

A police report disclosed that the robbers broke into the house of Maria Mercedita Mendoza and ransacked several valuables.

The robbers forcibly entered the house by destroying the padlock.

Personnel of the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) also conducted an ocular inspection at the crime scene and lifted some fingerprints.
Several valuables were missing and believed to have been taken by intruders.

Meanwhile, Romeo Alvarez of Sangali was arrested on the strength of a warrant for violation of Section 10A, Ararticle VI of Republic Act 7610 under Case No. 25799.

The warrant was issued by Judge Peter Eisma of the Regional Trial Court Branch 15 with recommended bail of P80,000. — Dan Toribio Jr.
