A military intelligence operative and an internet customer were killed while two others were wounded in four separate gun attacks, the other day.
Pvt. Ismael Abdennajir, a member of the Army’s Special Forces assigned to the Military Intelligence Group 9 was shot to death in front of Zamcelco in Putik last Friday around 5:45 p.m.

A police report disclosed that Abdennajir was driving his Honda Wave motorcycle heading east, when two men riding tandem on another motorcycle chased him and the backrider shot him in front of Zamcelco.

Abdennajir died on the spot with a bullet wound in the head.

The gunmen sped away after shooting their target, witnesses told the police.

Recovered at the crime scene was a spent shell of .45 caliber pistol.

A certain Joseph was shot dead by Abdulsali Asmadun, owner of the Huglink Internet Café, in Talon-Talon last Thursday night.

Joseph sustained a bullet wound in the body and died on the spot.

Joseph who was suffering from mental illness went inside the café and harassed Asmadun’s wife..

Police said that Joseph also attacked Asmadun who was sitting near his table inside the shop. At this point, Asmadun pulled hi handgun from his waist and shot Joseph in the body.

Investigators said that Asmadun and his wife were nowhere to be found during investigation.

Reynaldo Capotilla y Rubio, 43, single, of Dreamville, Ayala was shot and wounded by his brother-in-law identified as Alvin Ahaja Pawan, 23, married last Thursday night.

The victim sustained bullet wounds in the face and both legs and was taken to the hospital. Ahaja left the place after the incident.

Edgar Minia y Martinez, 48, married, of Pasonanca, was shot and wounded by a gunman in Recodo, the shabu capital of Zamboanga, last Friday afternoon.

Minia was driving his motorcycle along Acacia Drive, when a gunman blocked his path and tried to extort money from him. He refused to give and sped aways but the gunman shot him in the back.
