Man shot dead at Caragasan market PDF Print E-mail

A man was shot dead while he was sleeping with his family at the Caragasan market, Maasin at dawn yesterday.

Killed was Henry Gantaan y Adala, 44, married and  a resident of Sto. Niño Village, Patalon.

A police report disclosed that Gantaan and his wife were sleeping inside their shanty when a gunman arrived and shot him. He sustained bullet wounds in the body and died on the spot.

The gunman escaped after the incident.

Witnesses told investigators that the gunman sped west aboard a motorcycle.

Recovered at the crime scene were three spent shells of .45 caliber pistol.
