2 woman drug pushers nabbed PDF Print E-mail

Two alleged woman drug pushers were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Sta. Catalina last Tuesday afternoon.

Sr. Insp. Elmer Solon, chief of the  Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force (AIDSOTF),  identified the suspects as Jasmin Corias y Borgonia, 42, married, and Romeliza Tahil y Laping, 26.

Solon said that the buy-bust operation was carried out around 2 p.m.

The AIDSOTF chief disclosed that they confiscated from the suspects’ possession three packs of shabu, two rolled strips of  aluminum foil, disposable lighters and P300 marked money.

The suspects were detained at the central police station while the seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examination.

Solon said a case of violation of Sections 5 and 11 of  Republic Act 9165 will be filed in court against the suspects. – Dan Toribio Jr.
