Thirteen seafood firm workers were slightly injured when the truck they were riding crashed along Lobregat Highway in Culianan yesterday morning.

PO2 Elmer Toribio, investigator of the Culianan Police Station, disclosed that a total of 15 workers of the seafood firm were aboard a truck driven by Joel Magsayo, on their way to Sangali around 6 a.m. when the accident took place.

Toribio said that while the truck was travelling east, the driver lost control of the steering wheel due to the slippery road as It was raining that moment.
The truck crashed near the Grotto sending the passengers on the ground.

Out of 15 workers, 13 of them and the driver sustained slight injuries. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The report said that the truck incurred damages.

The place where the truck crashed is an accident prone area as several other accidents took place thereat. –Dan Toribio Jr.
