Winners of Perlas Tee golf tournament bared PDF Print E-mail

Eldon Elumba was declared champion and top individual scorer in Class A Division with a  score of 105 points during the two-day golf tournament dubbed as “1st Gov. Eric Laviña Cup” sponsored by  the Zamboanga City based Perlas Tee Golf Foundation last Saturday and Sunday at the Zamboanga Golf and Country Club.

Second is Isaac Elumba with a score of 100 points and third is Joseph Dy with 96 points.

In Class B Division, top individual scorer was Marvin Mendoza with 94 points. Second is Judge Peter Eisma with 89 points and third is Marco Mendoza with
88 points.

In Class C Division, First  scorer is Noel Ituralde with 83 points; second is Roland Lim with 79 points and third is June Hwang with 79 points.

In Class D Division, first was Maj. Alex  Aguado with 73 points; second was Antonio Pea with 67 pointsand third was Rudy Maadil with 67 points.

In the Team Group Division:  For Class D  — Champion was the team of Reiner  Mendoza , Niko Mendoza, Mike Cases and Jovy Mendoza ; Second Runner-up — Alraf Construction led by Engr. Faizal Hasiman, Francis Oliveros and Jangol Chiong;  Class C  Team Division — Champion was the team of Nestor Mendoza, David Arenas and Allan Lua. Second Runner Up — the team of Judge Peter Eisma, Atty. Quirino Esguerra, Vice Gov. Ben Loong and  Brunei Army Maj. Zulehram Bin Yakub.In Class B Team Group Division — champion was the team of Joenas Suaso, Joseph Ruiz, Romy Urian and  Alejo Marquez;  Second Runner-up  was the team of Robie Lee, Marco Mendoza, Victor Yuvallos and Mario Cugtas and in the Class A Team Group Division, the champion was the team of Eldon Elumba, Isaac Elumba, Atty. Homer Mabale and Atty. John Paul Pagteilan.

The awarding was held last Sunday night at Marcian Garden Hotel.

The two-day golf tournament was organized by  the officers of Perlas Tee Golf Foundation — Joseph Dy, Raymond Padayhag, Eric Chiong and Danny Balagapo and fully supported by  Zamboanga Golf and Country Club headed by Atty. Quirino Esguerra Jr.

The Perlas Tee Golf Foundation wishes to help promote golfing in this city as a veritable tourism come-on and play host to different types of invitation gold tournament as done by the Coral Tee of Cebu, Durian Tee of Davao and the Mango Tee of Manila and others.
