The San Ramon Power, Inc. (SRPI) conducted last Tuesday a medical-dental outreach mission in barangay Ayala, one of several such missions since the program started two years ago.

SRPI Officer-in-Charge Archie Donato said that more than 500 residents of Ayala benefitted from the mission which is part of the social responsibility and community relations program of the company that intends to put up a coal-fired power plant in San Ramon, this city.

About 400 beneficiaries availed of the free medical services, 37 residents were dental patients and 190 boys were circumcised under the “Operation Tuli” program, Donato said. (Please see related photos on p.3)

Those who voluntarily took part in the missions were representatives from the Western Mindanao Command (Wesmincom), Philippine National Police (PNP), student nurses, City Health Office and a doctor from the Zamboanga City Medical Society.

The activity started at eight o’clock in the morning and ended at two o’clock in the afternoon at the Ayala Hall and covered court. — BJ
