A cigarette vendor was stabbed to death by suspected thieves inside his rented house at Solis Drive, Sta. Maria last Thursday night.

Killed was Jimmy Alih y Alfaro, 42, single, a native of Basilan.

Alih’s body was discovered around 7 p.m., Thursday, police said. He sustained multiple stab wounds in the different parts of the body. Recovered near Alih’s body was a broken kitchen knife.

Initial investigation showed that Alih’s earning was missing.
