Lilia Nuño initiates summer dental mission, tuli ops PDF Print E-mail

Councilor Lilia Macrohon Nuño initiated this summer a dental mission and operation tuli as well as feeding programs in the different areas in Zamboanga City, among which is barangay Mercedes.

Nuño, chairman of the Council’s Committee on Health,  has been consistent in conducting medical outreaches which has already benefitted thousands of people particularly the indigents.

“Other than our legislative responsibilities at the Sangguniang Panlungsod, we are also putting great efforts to help people with their health needs. To be consistent, we need to sustain these important programs to really deliver social and basic services to the poor,” Nuño said.

Working with Nuño were many well-meaning groups and organizations who believe in Nuno’s cause such as the Guardians Brotherhood, and even personnel from the Philippines Navy and other agencies.

Oplan Tuli was held in Mercedes while Nuno’s collaboration with the Philippine Air Force and Red Cross served many people in Cabaluay, Talon-Talon, and Guiwan, as well as Tetuan.

“I will continue to serve the people by attending to their medical and health needs. I have been doing these wonderful tasks long before i joined politics. we need to sustain and continue with this advocacy as more and more people are benefitting from this programs,” Nuño said.
