E-Blotter launched in PNP camp in Pagadian City PDF Print E-mail

The Philippine National Police  has launched the Electronic- Blotter (E-Blotter) during the blessing and inauguration of the Public Safety Savings and Loan Association Inc. Field Office in Camp Abelon, Pagadian City last Monday morning.

The launching of E-Blotter was first in Mindanao. It will cover the whole of Region 9 and will be distributed to all municipalities, cities and provinces.

Gracing the launching and blessing of the PSSLAI were Chief Supt. Angelito Pacia, Directorate for Information Communication and Technology Management, Chief Supt. Alex Monteagudo,  Dir. Lucas Managuelod ( Ret.), Dir. Ernesto Belen ( Ret.), Ms. Justina Eleiza L. Galvante and   officials of Zamboanga del Sur.

Police Regional Office-9 Director Chief Supt. Napoleon R. Estilles thanked PNP Chief Director  General Nicanor A. Bartolome for granting his request and made Region 9 the first launching area of  E-Blotter.

In his speech during the launcing, Estilles explained that Region 9 is very unique because all the enemies of the state are here like the rogue MILF, CPP-NPA, all lawless groups (bandits and pirates) , terrorists, drug lords and carnappers. 

“Eighty five computers will be distributed to all municipalities of Zamboanga del  Sur and the whole region. It will help policemen track down and identify wanted criminals  because it has files. Once also persons who have criminal case will be recorded. The names will be there,” Estilles said.

Officials of the province signified also their intention to help the PNP combat and fight lawlessness in the region.

Vice Gov. John Regala said we will continue calling on all stakeholders for peace and  development to help the police in their efforts to run after criminals and lawless elements.    “Peace is everybody’s  business and their efforts must be supported by the communities. With each other help and working together, peace and prosperity will reign in the region,” Regala said.

Chief Supt. Pacia said told the policemen that the E-Blotter has all the information on wanted persons in the country with their warrant of arrest. It can retrieve and process information from other regions and E-Warrants and pictures of wanted persons from other places, in addition to E-Rogues Gallery.  Criminals are nowhere to go in the country once their records and photos are registered in the E-Blotter. It has also all the current activities of programs of the PNP.

Zamboanga del Sur Police Provincial Office Officer-in-Charge Sr. Supt. William T. Manzan was delighted because the launching was done in his stewardship.
