Abaton gets ISO certificate for LTO Zambo City office PDF Print E-mail

Land Transportation Office 9 Director Aminola P. Abaton has received the renewed  International Organization for Standardization (ISO) – 9001-2008  Certificate for the Zamboanga City Licensing Office.

The certificate was given during celebration of the 100th  Centennial year of LTO  in Manila last April 23-27

During the celebration,  LTO9 was also awarded by  Undersecretary Virginia Torres as one of the best Regional Offices in the country. Ms. Jean Garcia was also awarded as best employee of LTO 9 for the year 2011.

Abaton commended the Zamboanga City Licensing Office officers and staff under the stewardship of Nurhuda O. Nurulla  for a job well done.

With their utmost dedication to maintain the quality time management and excellence delivery of services to LTO9 clients, the office’s ISO 9001-2008 certification was renewed.

Meanwhile, Abaton, who is concurrent chairman of the Department of Transportation and Communication- Regional Management Council 9 led a the tug-of-war game last May during the opening of the one-month sports event dubbed as  DOTC- RMC 9 Summer League 2012.
The opening was held at the Enriquez Sports Complex.

Abdelshan N. Amilasan, over-all sports committee  Chairman, disclosed that members of RMC 9 are the offices of, Civil Aeronotics Aviation Authority,
Telecommunication Office, Maritime Industry Authority, Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine Ports Authority, National  Telecommunication Office,  LTO9, Land
Transportation and Franchizing Regulatory Board and others.

Sport events are Baskeball, Volleyball Men and Women, Bowling, Badminton, Chess, Dart, Table Tennis and Billiard. The sport activities are held at the
Philippine Ports Authority Court and  Tebi & Sean Recreational Center along Gov. Camins Ave.  The culmination program and awarding of championships will be on May 29, 2012  at 6:00 p.m  in GrandAstoria Hotel. — Allen Abastillas
