A teenager was killed while his three companions escaped death in a gun attack in Sta. Catalina at dawn yesterday.

Police identified the fatality as Kiram Omar y Garingan, 18, of Paniran, Sta. Catalina. He sustained multiple bullet wounds in the body and died on the spot.

Police said that Omar and three companions were riding on a motorcycle on their way home around 3 a.m. when a car chased them and one of those aboard opened fire killing Omar. He was hit in the body while his companions emerged unscathed.

The gunmen sped after the incident.

Investigators recovered 12 spent shells and five slugs of 9mm pistol at the crime scene.
