House Deputy Speaker and District I Representative Beng Climaco on Monday returned to Congress geared up for long and arduous sessions and deliberations on her pending bills.

The House has been on a month-long recess starting a few days prior to Holy Week last April. With the resumption, priority bills are presented on plenary.

During recess, the Deputy Speaker had been inaugurating projects and guesting as speaker in several occassions. One of the project unveiled included the P11 million cancer center at the Zamboanga City Medical Center last April 16; the graduation of police women and law enforcers’ wives who underwent a weeklong livelihood training jointly organized by the congressional office and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) among others.

“Several bills are now scheduled for debate in the plenary and we are back on our toes in making sure that our legislation is laid to plan,” the lady solon said.

Among the priority bills are the infidelity law.
