‘Salvage’ man found in Culianan PDF Print E-mail

Residents of Culianan recovered the body of an unidentified man believed to be a “salvage” or summary execution victim last Tuesday morning.

Joseph Eugenio y Olaso, 23, single, a habal-habal driver, reported to the Culianan police station that there was body amid grasses near the road.
During ocular investigation, investigators found the body in prone position.

The victim was medium built, wearing brown t-shirt and blue denim jeans, 25 to 30 years old, 5’4” to 5’6” tall, and having fair complexion.
Police said the victim was hogtied with a nylon rope.

The victim had a bullet wound in the head and multiple stab wounds in the cheek and both ears were mutilated.

Police suspected that the victim was killed elsewhere and his body was dumped in Culianan. – Dan Toribio Jr.
