Zamboanga City deserves good quality of roads.

Zamboanguenos for the Transformation of Zamboanga (ZTZ), a local group of Zamboanguenos now moving to develop the city, has noted that there are many roads constructed poorly and others are easily getting dilapidated.

ZTZ said bad roads are not only hidden in the hinterlands but they can also be found even right in the city proper.

ZTZ, organized by former Zamboanga del Norte congressman Romeo “Nonong” Jalosjos , has recently announced and publis hed its 25-point development program for Zamboanga City.

Jalosjos, who is aspiring to run for mayor of the city in 2013, listed quality roads as among those in the ZTZ’s 25-point agenda.

“We will establish new roads and ensure wide streets designed to eliminate traffic congestion,” Jalosjos said  of ZTZ’s agenda.

“Support projects with flyovers, loops and circumferential by-pass roads where applicable, and establish an appropriate mass transit system,” it said.
