Murder rap filed against 7 men in Mampang gunslay PDF Print E-mail

The Tetuan police station has submitted to the City Prosecutor Office a murder case against seven men responsible for the killing of a resident of Sitio Canelar in Mampang recently.

The forwarding of case came after one of the suspects identified as Mark Anthony Sinosa y Cataylo alias Mac-Mac accompanied by his relatives surrendered to the police and admitted his participation in the killing of Radzmar Arsad y Alih around 11 p.m. last May 12.

Police said that aside from Sinosa, persons only known as Tik-Tik, Pepe, Junel, Jomel, Eldrin and one John doe were also charged for the same offense.
Sinosa was detained while his companions remain at large as of press time.

To recall, Arsad had figured in a quarrel with unidentified persons outside their house in the afternoon of May 12.

Few hours later around 11 p.m., somebody called Arsad through cell phone requesting him to come out of the house. When he was standing near their house, an unidentified man shot him with a handgun.

The gunman and his companions escaped after shooting Arsad.

Sinosa accompanied by some relatives and their lawyer Atty. Kim Elago surrendered to the police and was placed under interrogation.

Meanwhile, policemen of Sta. Maria Police Station arrested Florencio Parao y Trupa of Villa Margarita, San Roque last Sunday for attempted homicide with a Case No. 50312 issued by Judge Ivan Mendoza of the Municipal Trial Court Branch 2 on March 19, 2012.

Parao was detained at the Sta. Maria Police Station pending his turn-over to the court. – Dan Toribio Jr.
