Four boys ages 13 to 15 years old were arrested last Monday afternoon by police operatives led by Sr. Insp. Arturo Alejandro in connection with the robbery at three buildings along Buenavista St. Friday night last week.

The suspects were positively identified through fingerprints as among eight young males who climbed the top of three buildings and descended into the offices therein where they carted away several valuable items amounting to some P300,000.

The three buildings are the Torre dela Buenavista, Ipil Machine Shop and Joval Building where the Silsilah Movement is housed. Most of the stolen items were taken from offices at the Torre dela Buenavista.

The four minors were nabbed at Tierra Madre, Tumaga.

Among the items recovered from the suspects were two cameras, a pair of binoculars, cell phones and other electronic devices. Investigators were however surprised because some of the recovered items were not those taken from the Buenavista robbery. These items were suspected to have been taken from other previous robberies in this city.

Since they are minors, the suspects were turned over to the custody of the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWO).

It was learned that those who eluded arrest were a little older and the leader of the group was said to be a 19-year-old.
