Police Regional Office-9 Director Chief Supt. Napoleon R. Estilles yesterday directed 58 policemen taking up Criminal Investigation course to focus and put in their heart on what they will learn from the schooling.

Estilles gave the directive  during the opening of  the  “Criminal  Investigation Course Class 170-2012 at Camp Abendan.

Estilles stressed that investigation is very important in police works and in law enforcement.    He explained that once a case is  assigned to a policeman, he will be confronted with puzzling and tricky circumstances.

“It (investigation) needs focus and concentration by heart. Once an investigation is performed well and the case is solved in court because of  well performed investigation, the result is very fulfilling and  very rewarding,” Estilles said.

The Course Class 170-2012 participants will undergo a 45-day training. They will perform theoretical and actual investigation in the field. The candidates are 11 policemen from  Zamboanga City Police Office, 20 from Zamboanga del  Norte Police Provincial Office,  two from the 9th Regional Public Safety Battalion, eight from PRO9 , nine from Zamboanga del Sur PPO, two from Isabela City Police Station, one from the Bureau of Jail and Management  and Penology and four from the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

The training Director is Sr. Supt. Sofronio Elcadre and Sr. Supt. Roland G. Lim, chief of the Regional Investigation Detective and Management Division. — Allen Abastillas
