A government office and a cooperative firm were robbed of valuables and cash last Saturday night.

Police said the robbery took place at the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) and at the Samboangan Bayanihan Cooperative at the Edificio Central Building along Rizal St., this city.

Ocular investigation showed that the burglars entered the Edifico Central building by destroying the padlock of its roll-up door. They then proceeded to the second floor and broke in to the NLRC office and carted away an Acer laptop computer worth P31,000 owned by Sitti Huda Prins and P4,000 in cash.

Police said the robbers also entered the Samboangan Bayanihan Cooperative office which is located adjacent to NLRC and they took P1,000 in cash from the cashier’s drawer.
