Operatives of the Ayala Police Station recovered a .38 cal. revolver while chasing two suspicious persons in Calle Pilar at Zone 8, Ayala last Tuesday night.

The .38 cal. Smith and Wesson revolver with five bullets in the cylinder was turned over to an investigator for proper disposition.

The Ayala police station had received a report from a concerned resident about the presence of two men acting suspiciously at Calle Pilar.

Policemen led by Insp. Benzar Bairula rushed to the place and spotted the two men.

When called by the lawmen, the duo ran away resulting to a brief chase. One of the two men tripped but stood back and continued running with his companion towards La Paz until they disappeared.
