2 hurt in Guiwan gun attacks PDF Print E-mail

Two men were shot and wounded by unidentified assailants aboard four motorcycles at Callejon Drive, Guiwan last Thursday night.

The victims were identified as Gerome Solomon y Son, a security guard and Junior Ballios y Gomez, 22.

Solomon sustained a bullet wound in the left foot while Ballios was shot in both legs.

A police report disclosed that Solomon and Ballios together with their friends, Florkee Flores, Feggrey Gloria and Philip Sagoso, were having a conversation along the interior part of Callejon Drive around 10 p.m., when four motorcycles appeared and one of the backriders suddenly pulled out a handgun and shot them several times.

The assailants sped away towards the Guiwan main road after shooting their targets.

The victims told the police that the assailants’ faces were covered with handkerchiefs while their motorcycles have no plates.

Men of the Tetuan police station are working on the case to determine the identities of the assailants and to arrest them. – Dan Toribio Jr.
