Operatives of the Zamboanga City Public Safety Company under Supt. William Gadayan arrested another suspected drug pusher in Tetuan last Friday.
Arrested was Tito Huerto y Ventura alias Don, 32, married of Don Toribio St., Tetuan.

A police report disclosed that Huerto was nabbed by policemen led by Sr. Insp. Jade Mandi around 3:30 p.m. Recovered from his possession were two packs of shabu and P300 marked money. He was taken to the central police station where he was detained while the seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examination.

Huerto was earlier the subject of police surveillance for peddling shabu to some addicts in Tetuan. A police undercover agent pretended as buyer and bought a sachet of shabu from Huerto for P300.

After the exchange of the marked money and the shabu, a police back-up team collared Huerto and recovered another pack of shabu from his possession.–Dan Toribio Jr.
