A jeepney driver and his two female passengers were wounded in gun attack in Barangay Mampang last Tuesday night.

Police identified the victims as Titing Maldisa y Sahiron, married and driver by profession, Nursaya Aminula y Muharam, 26, and her sister Melba, 20, also of Mampang.

Titing sustained bullet wounds in the head and body. He and the two sisters were rushed to the Zamboanga City Medical Center for treatment.

A police report disclosed that Maldisa was driving a PUJ with the two sisters sitting in the front seat. Reaching at a secluded area, two men riding on a motorcycle surfaced and the backrider opened fire on Maldisa several times.

Apparently, Police said, Titing was target of the attack and the two sisters were hit by stray bullets.

The gunmen sped away after shooting their target.

Recovered at the crime scene were six spent shells and two slugs of .45 caliber pistol.

Witnesses told investigators that Hilbert Villanueva alias OO and a certain King-King, both of Talon-Talon, were seen in the area before and during the gun attack.
