Estilles lauds PRO-9 intel chief, men, SAF troopers on Pingli slay PDF Print E-mail

Police Regional Office-9 Director Chief Supt. Napolen R. Estilles has commended Regional Intelligence Chief Sr. Supt. Abraham Rojas and his men as well as troopers of the Special Action Force for the “neutrailization” of Ustadz Wahid Pingli alias Guru  who was killed in a shootout in Sacol Island last  Sunday afternoon.

Police reported that  Pingli were killed in a 25-minute gunbattle, but his cohorts  managed to escape.

Pingli is a member of 3rd  Section of the 114th BC  MILF based in Tipo-Tipo, Basilan. His criminal activities included kidnapping, extortion, drug trafficking and harassment He is involved in the kidnapping of three teachers in Sacol island on January 23, 2009, kidnapping of Eliseo Hablo and  Innocente Bautista, three teachers of Naga on March 13,2009, Gerfa Yeatts Lunsmann, son Kevin Eric and nephew Romnick Jakaria last July 21, 2012. — Allen Abastillas
