Police Regional Office-9 Director Chief Supt. Napoleon R. Estilles has thanked Zamboanga Sibugay Governor Rommel A. Jalosjos for including policemen under his command in the Zamboanga Peninsula Peacekeeper Rubber Producer Cooperative ( ZAMPEN ).

Estilles said that investing on rubber tree production is good for the country and  good for the preservation and protection of the environment.

“The endeavor of Gov. Jalosjos is very productive for policemen. Aside from their law enforcement job for the security and safety of the people, they are also required to become environmentalist,” Estilles stressed.

Under the projects of Philippine National Police Director General Nicanor Bartolome, all policemen nationwide are required to plant trees through the program called “Pulis  Makakalikasan: 10 Milyong Puno Pamana sa Kinabukasan”.

The PNP signed last January 30 a memorandum of agreement with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources for policemen to plant trees in all public and government lands nationwide.

“The PNP always stands for Makadiyos, Makabayan, Makatao and Makakalikasan,” said the police regional director. — Allen Abastillas
