Two men mauled, stabbed, robbed after coming out of motel PDF Print E-mail

Two men were stabbed, mauled and robbed by a group of persons after they brought two alleged “call-girls” to a motel along Pilar St. at dawn last Thursday.

Policemen led by Sr. Insp. Arlan Delumpines arrested the leader of the holduppers and his wife, who was one of the two “call-girls” during a follow-up operation in Lower Calarian on the same day.

The victims were identified as Jelmar Manlangit y Didace of Gov. Ramos Avenue, Sta. Maria and Randy Flores y Kimbo, a native of Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte and temporarily residing in sta. Maria.

Nabbed were Imran Suaib and his wife Baby Suaib.Later on, the lawmen also collared Abdulasis Jamat Alibasa.

Flores was stabbed in the body while Manlangit sustained injuries from stone throwing.

Initial investigation disclosed that Manlangit and Flores picked up two “call- girls” identified only Baby Suaib and Emy. They checkedin at the Bob’s Motel.

Hours later, they went out of the motel but they were surprised by a group of persons led by Imran, Baby’s husband who blocked their path and attacked them with knife, stones and fist blows.

Imran and his companions took P230 from Manlangit and the wallet of Flores containing undetermined amount of money  then they scampered in different directions.

Imran and his wife were arrested around 10 a.m. in  Lower Calarian and were detained at the central police station pending the filing of charges in court. – Dan Toribio Jr.
