Continuing his charity work, District 2 Congressman Erbie A. Fabian recently handed over a wheelchair to an eight-year-old boy from Barangay Tugbungan who is suffering from cerebral palsy since birth.

The parents of Guiller John Ramillano earlier wrote Fabian seeking assistance for the donation of a wheelchair which is very essential to the patient especially with his situation.

Guiller John is bedridden and needs the wheelchair for him to go out and refresh and get sunlight exposure once in a while..

Heeding to the request, Fabian personally brought a brand new wheelchair to the Ramillano residence where the parents and grandparents of the boy welcomed him and expressed gladness on his presence.

Guiller John himself was seen elated by the wheelchair which he longed for.

Mrs. Pilar Alfonso, Guiller’s grandmother, thanked Fabian “for such a wonderful heart.”

“Thank you very much to Erbie for this wonderful gift to my grandson. We never expected it. We will cherish this forever... Hope you will continue helping the needy,” Mrs. Alfonso said.

Fabian has been extending help to the needy, sick and destitute folks in Zamboanga City since he was a TV journalist more than 20 years ago.

His charity work continued when he joined politics and still going on to this day, believing in the slogan, “amor con amor se paga” (Love begets love). — Bhong Simbajon
