Identities of two slain roving vendors known PDF Print E-mail

Police yesterday identified the two roving vendors who were shot and killed at Faustino Drive, Mampang last Wedne.

The fatalities were identified as Rico Capuno, a native of Kabasalan, Zambonaga Sibugay and Alex Caracol of Sinunuc, this city.

Tetuan police station commander Chief Insp. Elmer Acuña said that no less than the victims’ employer gave their identities during investigation.

Acuña added that only Capuno and Caracol were selling housewares on installment basis in the area with no third companion who had earlier been reported to have managed to run away while they were being shot by the gunmen.

The station chief added that he and his men were still digging deeper into the case to determine the identities of the killers as well as the motive behind
the killing.

It was learned that no one from Faustino  Drive have come forward to say that they saw the shooting.

Capuno and Caracol were selling steel cabinet at the interior of Faustino Drive at past 12 noon when they were shot by gunmen using a .45 caliber pistol.
Investigators recovered six spent shells, three slugs and one live bullet at the crime scene.

The bodies were brought to a funeral parlor for postmortem examination. — Dan Toribio Jr.
