Bike stolen in Quezon City seized in ZC PDF Print E-mail

A red Suzuki Raider motorcycle was seized by operatives of  the Highway Patrol Group-9  along  RT Lim boulevard after it was found out it was stolen in Quezon City. 
The motorcycle was apprehended during a HPG operation on the "No Plate No Travel" policy, "No Helmet" Policy, implementation of R.A 6539 othewise known as the Anti-Carnapping Act of 1972, Anti-Hijacking and Anti-Highway Robbery and implementation of R.A 4136.
The motorcycle was spotted and flagged down by HPG operatives composed of SPO4 Nestor Bandigan, PO3 Apolinarion P. Vilvestre Jr., PO1 Idris M. Andong, PO1 Bendair B. Bello and PO1 Alhajar J. Hamjani.
Case investigator PO3 Wilfredo Ator reported to HPG Regional Chief Sr. Supt. Romeo R. Uy  that the driver of the motorcycle Aljimar Albani of Tumaga  could not produce any pertinent document for his ownership of the motorcycle.
During initial investigation, PO3 Ator also said that the driver can not present any clearance from the Philippine Ports Authority for the shipment of the Suzuki Raider from Manila.
He said the seized motorcycle could have been disassembled and shipped to Zamboanga City via a cargo forwarder.
The HPG Motor Vehicles Information Management System showed that the motorcycle is included in the list of wanted and stolen motorcycle under hold order. It belongs to a certain D.A.Luna of Fairview, Quezon City.
Uy directed  PO3 Ator to impound the motorcycle for further investigation. --  Allen Abastillas
