In an effort to sustain and strengthen the delivery of public service to the Community, protection of Environment, promotion of Livelihood and ensure Security and Order (C.E.L.S.O.) in all 98 barangays of the city, Mayor Celso Lobregat turned over anew 10 pick-up vehicles to the barangays, this time from District 1.

Barangay chairmen of Ayala, Baliwasan, Baluno, Cabatangan, Camino Nuevo, Canelar, Capisan, La Paz, Maasin and Patalon, all under District 1, thanked Lobregat for the 4x4 vehicles given to them even as they vowed to use the vehicles for the advancement of their respective barangays.

Present during the turnover of vehicles in front of City Hall were Councilors Percival Ramos, Rudy Lim and Rogelio Valesco Jr. together with City Hall Chief Executive Assistant Mario Roca, and Fr. William Quiamjot, who blessed the vehicles.

Yesterday’s turnover brought to a total of 45 barangays to have received the C.E.L.S.O. vehicles, while 45 other mainland barangays will receive their vehicles in the coming days. The eight island barangays will each receive a pumpboat and multicab soon.
