Operatives of the City Police Office’s Anti-illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force led by Sr. Insp. Elmer Solon arrested a man and his wife during a shabu buy-bust operation along RT Lim Boulevard last Monday afternoon while another suspected pusher was nabbed by men of the Zamboanga City Public Safety Company under the supervision of Supt. William Gadayan at Sitio Bugug, Sta. Catalina yesterday morning.

Solon identified those arrested as Husni Parantis y Mampu, 31, and his wife Falma, both residents of Campo Islam.

Recovered from the suspects’ possession were 11 sachets of shabu, P500 marked money, a honda XRM motorcycle with plate number 8561 JJ registered under the name of Kadil Julhasbi, a Nokia cell phone, 10 strips of unused rolled aluminum foil.

A police report disclosed that the couple agreed to a shabu deal with a police undercover agent. They met along RT Lim Boulevard at past 5 p.m.
The police agent bought a sachet of shabu at P500.

After the marked money and the sachet of shabu changed hands, a police team collared the suspects.

Recovered by the police were 1o more packs of shabu from the suspects during interrogation.

Meanwhile, Gadayan disclosed that Frankie Isnani y Chang, Jr., 29, a native of Bus-Bus, Sulu was arrested in Sta. Catalina around 11:30 a.m. .
