Fisher shot with ‘boga’, is wounded PDF Print E-mail

A fisherman was wounded after he was shot by an assailant with a “boga” in Barangay Manalipa, Sacol Island last Tuesday afternoon.

Sacol Police Station commander Chief Insp. Nonito Asdai identified the victim as Imam Nuh Hajinullah y Alpad, 42, married.

Initial investigation disclosed that Hajinullah was inside house around 5:20 p.m. when a man came and inserted the tip of a “boga” in into a hole in the wall and shot him.

Asdai said the victim was hit in the right lower knee and was rushed to Zamboanga City Medical Center for treatment.

He said the gunman was not recognized as no one saw him during the incident.

Asdai said he and his men are working on the case to arrest the gunman,
