Estilles to install Perez as Sibugay police chief PDF Print E-mail

Police Regional Office-9 Director Chief Supt. Napoleon R. Estilles will install  Sr. Supt.   Jonathan Perez on Monday as the new Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial  Director based in Ipil municipality.

Perez, a graduate of the Philippine National Police Academy Batch 1988, will replace Sr. Supt. Ruben  Cariaga who will return to PRO-9 headquarters .

Meanwhile, another batch of  police troopers from the 9th Regional Public Safety Battalion will undergo the MASCO (Motorcycle Anti-Street Crime Operatives) Training to be conducted by riders of the Highway Patrol Group 9 under the leadership of  Regional Chief Sr.  Supt. Roque Eduardo Vega.

Estilles said that MASCO training is aimed to combat crimes in the street against lawless elements who commit crimes using motorcycle as mode of escape.

The policemen will be trained on how to drive a motorcycle in tandem to arrest suspected criminals in the street. It is also in  preparation for the forthcoming election next year.

Estilles has requested for 20 motorcycles from the Philippine National Police Foundation in Camp Crame  for the use of the policemen once they completed the training.

Meanwhile, Estilles will soon inaugurate police stations in the municipalities of Leon Postigo and Tungawan.

“After the completion of the construction of the fence of the new police station in Leon Postigo,  I will schedule for its blessing and inauguration. The construction project for a new Isabela City police station is now ready for bidding,” Estilles said. — Allen Abastillas
