A retired army soldier was gunned down at Sitio Look, Limpapa last Wednesday night.

Killed was retired Army MSgt. Roberto Cencio y Bacor, 65, widow. He sustained a bullet wound in the right eye and was taken to the Labuan Public Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

A sketchy police report disclosed that Cencio was sitting inside his mini store around 7:30 p.m. when a gunman broke in and shot him at close range.
Police said the gunman immediately left the place after shooting Cencio.

Recovered at the crime scene was an empty shell of an M14 rifle. It was learned that the gunman used an improvised gun with M14 bullet.

Investigators were looking at personal dispute as the motive behind the killing. — Dan Toribio Jr.
