All the former officers and personnel of the Ayala Police Station, who were relieved last month to undergo “Character and Aptitude Development training (Class 02-2012), graduated yesterday morning at the Regional Special Training Unit 9 in Camp Abendan.

During the 30-day training. all the policemen were lectured and refreshed on  Police Basic Recruit Course and lessons on how to prevent and solve crimes.
Police Regional Office 9  Director Chief Supt. Napoleon R. Estilles directed the graduates to become “ambassador of goodwill” to each policeman in the region.

“I want you to tell your fellow policemen that while you are in your assignment and mission, you must always protect the community from lawlessness and criminalities. You must combat crimes and while you are in the performance of your duties and mission, you must be alert and vigilant at all cost,” Estilles said in his message.

Estilles revealed that the policemen who underwent the refresher course will not go back to the Ayala Police Station. Some will stay in Zamboanga City or in the different Police Provincial Offices in the region. — Allen Abastillas
