Drunk pa hacks 1-year-old son PDF Print E-mail

A one-year-old boy was accidentally hacked and wounded by his father at Sitio Pole Grande, La Paz last Tuesday morning.

Operatives of the Ayala Police Station led by Sr. Insp. Edilberto Alvarez arrested the suspect during a hot pursuit operation.

Police identified the boy as Ramil Delos Reyes y Rojas. He sustained hack wounds in the right arm and chin.

A police report disclosed that Ramil was hacked by his father Rambo Delos Reyes around 6 a.m.

Police said that Rambo arrived home drunk. He ordered his wife Julieta to prepare him a cup of hot coffee. However, she ignored her husband which irked him.

Rambo grabbed a blade weapon and attacked his wife who was at that time carrying their son Ramil.

Police said the blows missed Julieta and instead hit the boy.

Julieta ran out of the house with the boy, then rushed him to the hospital for treatment.

Rambo was arrested after the incident was reported to the police.

Meanwhile,  a birthday party turned into a bloody affair after one of the guests was stabbed and wounded in Lumiyap, Divisoria last Wednesday night.

Wounded was Jhun Acquilan, single, of Putik, this city. He was stabbed by Reyner Delos Santos, 18, of Lumiyap, Divisoria.

Initial investigation showed that Acquilan was having a drinking spree at a birthday party when Delos Santos appeared and stabbed him from behind.

Acquilan sustained stab wounds at the back of the body and head. De los Santos escaped after the incident.

Police were looking into personal dispute as the motive behind the stabbing. — Dan Toribio Jr.
