2 of 3 police cell escapees nabbed PDF Print E-mail

Operatives of the Sta. Maria Police Station arrested two of the three detainees who escaped from detention last Friday night.

City Police Director Sr. Supt. James Mejia disclosed that Orlic Taguran y Fajardo, 20, was nabbed at the vicinity of a restaurant along Gov. Camins Avenue around 8 p.m. last Sunday.

Taguran was taken to the police station for further investigation and was detained again. He has pending case of robbery and illegal possession of firearm.
Policemen arrested Ben Asdali y Satul in Recodo around 4:30  p.m. yesterday.

Mejia disclosed that his men were still working for the recovery of Aldrin Jailani y Amping.

Asdali and Jailani were charged of robbery in two separate incidents.

Jailani was arrested with the help of CCTV camera that caught him inside a house in Sta. Maria.

Taguran along with Asdali and Jailani bolted the Sta. Maria Police Station detention last Friday night. Taking advantage of the blackout, they climbed to the ceiling of the detention cell and made their to the roof where they jumped down to freedom. — Dan Toribio Jr.
