Men of the City Police Office’s Anti-illegal Drug Special Operation Task Force led by Sr. Insp. Elmer Solon with members of the Ayala Police Station arrested a suspected shabu pusher in Recodo last Tuesday afternoon.

City Police Director Sr. Supt. James Mejia identified the arrested suspect as Abdulla Bilmain y Asali, alias Boyet, 30, married. Recovered from his possession were six sachets of suspected shabu, P300 marked money and aluminum foil.

A police report disclosed that Bilmain had earlier been reported as selling shabu in Recodo. Recently he was contacted by a police undercover agent and they agreed to a drug transaction.

The police poseur buyer met Bilmain at Purok 3, Recodo around 4:30 p.m. for the transaction.

When Bilmain handed over the sachets of shabu to the police poseur buyer and received the marked money, a police back-up team cornered and handcuffed him.

Bilmain was detained at the central police station while the seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examination. – Dan Toribio Jr.
